This dataset consists of the special speed limit zones for County Wicklow
Speed limits were amended nationally in 2005, when all measurements changed from the old miles per hour system to the new kilometers per hour. Speed limits used in County Wicklow include the 50kph Built Up Area Default Speed limit, 50,60, 80 and 120 kph Special Speed limit set by the Local Authority and set out in Bye-laws, 80kph Regional and local Road Default Speed limit, 100kph National Road Default Speed limit. The 120kph Motorway Default Speed limits and periodic special speed limit of 50kph.
